RPS AEROSPACE is positively concluding the testing session of the first two DISCOVERY platform typologies. From the N267 project are derived two aircraft for testing the flight performances of a VTOL multicopter with advanced command system HOTAS and intended to Multimission Application Scenarios.

The aircraft in propelled by a six rotors system with upside-down propellers and powered by a primary generator at 22.2 volts combined to an auxiliary system of safety back-up.

The aircraft is controlled using a portable GCS with Hands On Trottle-And-Stick commands that integrates advanced features like HUD and visible/IR vision system for visual and sound management of failures during piloting.

RPS AEROSPACE will test the preproduction aircraft before the end of 2017 following an already established program of flight test and starting the type certification process of VTOL DISCOVERY LFT light RPAS class.
